WARRANTY UPGRADE -- Aeros Short Ram Intake System (SURE0100 - Discontinued Model)

SUMMARY:  The Aeros Intake System (SURE0100 - Discontinued Model) was developed on the 2006–2007 Mazdaspeed 6 and 2007–2009 Mazdaspeed 3.  When the second generation (2010-2013) Mazdaspeed 3 became available, it was additionally tested for compatibility on SURE Motorsports' 2010 Mazdaspeed 3.  The second generation Mazdaspeed 3 vehicle came from the factory with a different fuel trim threshold than previous Mazdaspeed models.

CONCERN:  The Aeros Intake System (SURE0100 - Discontinued Model) was tested and compatible with the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 above 60 degree weather.  The 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 sometimes experienced a check engine light when the Aeros Intake System (SURE0100 - Discontinued Model) was used in colder climates.  This is only applicable to the second generation Mazdaspeed 3 (2010-2013); however, not all second generation Mazdaspeed 3 vehicles experienced this issue. 

REMEDY:  SURE Motorsports upgraded affected 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 vehicles to the new Aeros Intake System (SURE0113 - Current Model) MAF housing at no charge. 

NOTES:  12 units/customers were affected during the November 2010–April 2011 production run.  If purchasing a second-hand Aeros Intake System, note the SURE0100 part number is compatible with the 2006–2007 Mazdaspeed 6 and 2007–2009 Mazdaspeed 3 only.  Part numbers can be found on the purchase invoice or product packaging.
